Great results for Team Hammersley at a sunny Newbury yesterday.

Large crowds greeted us on this warm sunny day at Newbury. A brilliant second in the Dubai Developments Premier Handicap Stakes 0-105 for Hau Kola given an excellent ride by Pat Dobbs, his best result to date at the Dubai International Meeting. congratulations to owners Teresa Kinsey and John Elliott.

In the Emirates Premier Handicap Stakes, Abiyah Athbah, owned by diman Racing and ridden by David Turner ran into fourth place.

Bin Al Reeh, ridden by Ellie Mackenzie and owned by HH Sheikha Maryam Bint M Al Maktoum, was fourth for the second year running, running on at the end of the race to only be beaten by 5 lengths. Zayin Zachillies, winner of this race three years ago and ridden by Pat Dobbs was 7th.

Zayin Angkor Centurion, ridden by Ellie MacKenzie and owned by Zayin Arabian Stud Ltd, ran in one of the feature races of the day, the Group 1 6f Jebel Ali Racecourse Za'abeel International Stakes. A brilliant and gallant run to come 5th, only 6 lengths off the leader.

Race debutante Al-Tabari, ridden by Racheal Kneller and owned by Mr Rick Gould & Mrs Michelle Hammersley ran in the DIAR International Stakes (Group 3 PA), a big ask on his debut, will certaily have learned some this from this experience. His day will come.
