ABIYAH ATHBAH makes a promising debut at Chelmsford

Abiyah Athbah owned by Dilmun Racing and ridden by David Turner, ran well into third place in the 1m2 maiden against seasoned runners, only beaten by 3 1/4 lengths. Our other two newcomers, Deena Bint Krayaan and Zephyrella Zayin ran 5th and 6th respectively in the same race.

In the fourth race of the day we were represented by Bin al Reeh, having his first run over this distance he chased the leaders until 8f out, soon under pressure and losing place. Zayin Zachilles having won at Chelmsford last time over shorter distance, he chased the leaders until 6f out, he weakened 2f out.

In the final race of the day we had two runners, newcomer Bey Safra who was awkward leaving stalls and slowly into stride, always in last trio, lost touch 5f out; her future lies with endurance. It was not Zayin Activist's day, and he was withdrawn before the start.

Ultimate Force ran in race two over what is too short a distance for him; running on at the end he plugged on under pressure inside final furlong, but never troubled leaders.
