Zayin Indian Fuego, bred by Zayin Arabian Stud, and now owned by Sue Wileman, Peter's work rider and head girl. Sue was devoted to this lovely arabian, nick named 'naughts', over the 2 years he was in training. He was placed in all his races, and won for the first time in the 2017 season. Sue rode him in 4 endurance's whilst in training and still owned by Zayin Stud, where he achieved 2 Grade 1's. Sue purchased him from Zayin Stud over the winter and now keeps him just across the road from the yard.
Indian Fuego, since moving out of race training, has developed into an amazing endurance horse and is now representing a local National Forest Riding Club. Having competed in two endurance events in the past few weeks, he has achieved 2 grade 1's, finishing with a heart rate of 38 to 41, even on the hottest day of the year.
Sue and naughts, are in line to represent the riding club in the national finals at the British Festival of Endurance held in Wales in September.
Good luck to both of them as they continue to achieve heights, that at one stage we thought was impossible for this lovely gelding. Credit to Sue for loving this horse so much and believing in him, and to Peter who patiently trained him to his successes in racing, and of course to Zayin Stud for breeding him.
