Finals day at Huntingdon, stable jockey David Turner crowned champion jockey and Heather Phillpott c

What a season we have had with 12 winners. Stable jockey crowned champion jockey and Heather Phillpott becomes champion small owner (owner with less that 5 horses in training) with her two stars Unity Belle and Ultimate Force. We also won the Baileys Horse Feeds 'Large Yard Team Best Turned Out Championships'.

Finals day resulted in a second place for Zayin Stud's Kallista ridden by David Turner in the Heritage Arabian Racing Club Handicap over 2 miles.

The gold final ended in a photo finish with Forta Stud's Shammat Al Hosn, again ridden by David Turner, running on gamely to be beaten on the nod by a short head. Zayin Zachillies finished 5th beaten less than 3 lengths and Unity Belle in 6th place.

Majid bin Krayaan, ridden for the first time by David Turner, finished a fantastic third in the Silver final beaten only 3/4 length. Ultimate force ridden by Sam Lee for the first time finished fourth just 5l off the leader with Zayin Indian Fuego running a very nice race to finish 6th given a lovely ride by Joanna Mason.

Sheila Owen won the best turned out again with Shammat Al Hosn, her fourth award for Shammat.

Although we did not have a winner on the day all horses ran well and came home safe and sound.
