Wolverhampton 17 June 2017
We took seven runners to Wolverhampton; a very hot day saw us continually cooling off the horses with cool showers and making sure they had plenty of water. Our first runner was Suleyman, owned by Athbah Stud, he was having his first run for us since joining us from France, he finished 6th having tracked leaders until 2f out.
Our second runner was Zayin Indian Fuego who started as 2/1F, he tracked leaders, was ridden to lead over 4f out, driven and headed just over 1f out, kept on well under pressure and sustained duel with winner after, just held close home, losing by a short head. Another brilliant run by our rising star.
In the fourth race saw the debut of Our Dream, owned by the Raffles Partnership and a home bred filly, she finished third is a hotly contested Restricted Maiden race over 6f. The jockey was Sam Lee having his first ride in Arab Racing.
The next race saw Ultimate Force run into 7th place.
Aurora Forta was one of four horses in the next race, a highly rated handicap of horses 0-95, meant she was running against her toughest competition to date. a slowly run race saw her lead the field until 2f out, unable to stay with them in the final stages she finished fourth. Having had a tough race 2 weeks ago at Doncaster we were happy she came home safe and sound.
The last race of the day was a hotly contested handicap for horses rated 0-80. Two of our stable stars, both owned by the Zayin Stud, Zayin Zodiac and Zayin Zachilles, finished 7th and 8th respectively.
